With Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1, you will be able to share internet over Bluetooth. This feature may come handy with devices which doesn’t support Wi-Fi e.g.) earlier version of smartphones, Car system, etc.
- Navigate to settings.
- Turn on “internet sharing”.
- Change the “Share over” to “Bluetooth”.
- If you check “Allow Bluetooth devices to switch sharing from Wi-Fi to Bluetooth”, then all the Wi-Fi devices added to the phone will connect via Bluetooth if the device supports it.
Note: You will be able to share internet over either Wi-Fi or Bluetooth at a time. The devices should support “Bluetooth PAN (Personal Area Network)”.
