In this how to, we will discuss on how to set call forward on different scenario. This feature is explicitly available only on Lumia phones provided your mobile operator supports it.
In Windows Phone you can either choose to forward all the calls or on scenario like when you aren’t able to take the call, or you are busy or you are out of network reach.
- Navigate to settings.
- Scroll down to “network+”.
- Tap on “set” button under “Call settings”.
- Allow the phone to fetch data from your mobile operator which may take few seconds.
- Under the appropriate category either select a contact or key in the number you want to forward the call to.
All calls, will forward all the call irrespective of the situation. This can come handy when you are travelling or in a full day meeting.
When I don’t answer, will forward the calls only when you didn’t respond to the call by tapping “answer” or “ignore” or “text reply”. You can use this feature when you are not near your phone.
When I’m busy, will forward the calls you ignore.
When I can’t be reached, will forward the calls only when you are out of network reach.
