If you use the same device in office and home, then you are not alone with the discomfort of default printer setting. The latest builds gives an option for you to make Windows auto select default printer. Windows selects the printer based on the physical location you are in, and the last printer you used in the location.
- Navigate to settings.
- Tap on devices.
- Tap on printers and devices.
- Scroll down on the printer list, and check the option “Let Windows manage my default printer”.
Note: It takes at least one or two trials before Windows can map the printer to your physical location.
